Whakapapa
The Whakapapa lodge is just 5 minutes walk from the Top of the Bruce car park, and skiable (with snow) to the Rangatira chairlift. This allows one to get out the door, put on the skis or board and head straight for the lifts. Plus that added bonus of being able to ski right to the back door at the end of the day. Ohakune
Ohakune lodge July 2021
The Ohakune lodge is also well positioned by the ‘Junction’ at the foot of the mountain. This is in the heart of the restaurant and nightlife area of town. One can drive right to the door on arrival and there is just a 20 minute scenic drive from the lodge to the Turoa Ski field (or a short walk to the shuttle bus). Contact Details: Phone (06) 385 8657
