2010 Season Opening Party

A great turnout for our Season Opening Event at SnowPlanet on Queens Birthday Monday.
We had "Celebrity Judges", fancy dress, new skiers, old skiers and lots of Prizes.
It was a chance to catch up with members we hadn't seen since last season, check our equipment still worked and acclimatise for the approaching winter.
The 'Event' was attended by around 43 people, of which 27 were ‘competitors’.
Celebrity judges were contacted, and were most enthusiastic (Peter Gower, Bruce Bryant, Sue Donohue –
ably led by Bruce Fowler and Jim Steele).
The New Club Banner was aired; there were lots of spot prizes and the new T shirts and stickers were a hit
