What an awesome prizegiving - great to see old and new members enjoying a fantastic day.

Heaps of fun was had at our annual prizegiving in November 2008.

What a great season for TSC racing! In this gallery, you'll see photos of the TSC teams in the Haesnli Cup, Ngauruhoe Cup, and Jagermeaister Masters Races over the 2009 season. Keen competition, and some successes we can be really proud of!

For the first week in August, our lodge was packed with the skiers of the future. Snow Princesses and Supermen doind creative things everywhere. The higlight for the week was a ride in a snowcat organised thanks to Paul

Check out the great snow levels at Whakapapa now! There's currently a snow base of 95 cm at Whakapapa and 134 cm at Turoa, so we're in for a great season - see you there!

Our lodges are both looking fantastic, and we have the best June skiing at Turoa for ages. Come down to the mountain and join the early season fun.

On April 26, more than 50 eager members dusted off their ski gear and swarmed into SnowPlanet for a taste of the season to come. The event started with a Dual Slalom, followed by some of Moppy's famous team games - silly hats, skiing backwards and through each other's legs, all to great hilarity. Awesome prizes from Wagamama Restaurant, SnowPlanet, and SnowCentre.

A fantastic line-up of "Hollywood stars" attended our President's Dinner at Whakapapa! Amongst the guests were many who have been club members for decades, and contributed hugely to making our club what it is today.

No lifts, so first a walk to the top of the rockgarden for a winem a quick ski down, then fun & games for the Lily cup with a BBQ to finish the evening

20 September was another blue sky day. Six of the TSC crew decided to make the trip to the top and were rewarded with great views of the crater lake. Anna-Fay, Ray, Christine, Robyn, Nigel & Simon.

A fantastic weekend was had by all up at Whakapapa 6/7 September, with the junior race team coming third in the Ngauruhoe cup. The sun shone, the queues were OK, and the snow cover made all the runs down to the bottom which only Paul gets to ski available to all!

The club races were fiercely contested on the Giant Slalom and Slalom courses set on the Staircase on Saturday August 23. Fantastic Prizes from our generous sponsors SnowPlanet, Brown's Ski Shop and Vertical Ski Shop. Thanks to all the brave and keen people who competed! Overall winners were: Masters - Simon Parr and Ali Knowles Junior Vets - Linsey Churton and Dale Kennedy Senior Vet Neil Courtney SnowBoarding - Andi Barrett

Whakapapa with a 3.5 metre base in August!! And guess what, there's even more at Turoa, with a record 4.6m depth on record. Thanks to Kath Bryant, Mark Buckingham and Gail McJorrow for these brilliant shots!

With a terrible weather forecast for the mountain, for the first time we decided to have our junior club races at Snow Planet. The event was really well attended, with 35 keen racers and a host of supporters and helpers. Congratulations to all the participants! Winners were: Girls Under 10 - Erin Cory_Wright (1), Alexa Kennedy (2), Anna-Lise Hinton (3) Boys Under 10 - Tom Knowles (1), George Knowles (2). Alex Winstone (3) Girls 10 - 12 - Caroline McElroy (1), Samatha Taunton-Clark (2), Olivia Winstone (3) Boys 10 - 12 - Lucas Hinton (1), Tom Duffett (2), Michael Fowler and Alexander Hillary (3=) Girls 13 - 14 - Charlotte McElroy (1,2 and 3!) A fabulous week, with more snow than ever since 1992! Glorious weather, great company, Ruapehu at its best again!
